Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel and sealed to the highest IP68 waterproof rating, this bollard is built to last. It operates reliably in a wide temperature range from -30°C to 50°C, ensuring year-round performance in harsh weather, coastal areas, or locations using road de-icing salts. The substantial 219mm diameter with 6mm wall thickness provides significant impact resistance, while the sealed hydraulic unit requires minimal maintenance even in demanding conditions. For coastal applications, 316L stainless steel is available for superior chloride corrosion resistance.

A fixed bollard is a permanent barrier. The Yalau hydraulic bollard is retractable, providing dynamic vehicle access control. You can lower it to allow authorized vehicles (like deliveries or emergency services) to pass through and raise it to form an immovable 600mm lift barrier, offering much greater operational flexibility.

2. What foundation or preparation is required for installation?
Installation requires a reinforced concrete foundation pit to house the bollard's hydraulic mechanism when retracted. We provide detailed civil engineering drawings with each order. The system includes a 220V power supply connection point at the installation site.

3. What happens if there is a power failure? Will the bollard get stuck?
A key feature is the manual override function. In case of a power outage, authorized personnel can use a specialized emergency key to lower or raise the bollard manually, ensuring access is never permanently blocked.

4. Can the bollard be customized for a specific project color or size?
Yes. As a manufacturer, Yalau offers OEM/ODM services. While the standard model is 219mm in diameter with a 600mm lift, we can customize the total height, diameter, wall thickness, and powder-coating color (from the RAL palette) to meet your project's specific architectural and security requirements.

The standard 304 stainless steel offers excellent general corrosion resistance.
